Our commitment to sustainability
The Department of Environmental Science complies with the Central Environmental Policy of Stockholm University. We aim to extend the ability of our organization to contribute to progress towards a sustainable society. The Department of Environmental Science also works in accordance with Stockholm University’s environmental action plan and the local Environmental Action Plan (only in Swedish). The Department’s research and teaching is devoted to generating, synthesizing and communicating knowledge about known and anticipated environmental issues. It is therefore important for us to conduct our own activities with minimum negative impact on the environment.
