Application dates

Late application

Courses/programmes starting autumn 2019 are now open for late application. Courses that have available places have an active Add-button on (read more here).


Bachelor’s programme in Environmental Science

The programme starts at the beginning of the autumn term.
Application period:  15 March – 15 April. Open for late application.

Master’s programmes in Applied Environmental Science, Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry

The programmes start once a year in the autumn term.

Application periods:

  • December 1 – January 15: all non EU/EES applicants (students needing residence permits, visa, etc.
  • March 15 – April 15: EU/EES and Swedish applicants. Open for late application


Selection to the Master’s programmes is based on the number of relevant credits in your previous university studies as well as your grades.
Please note that if you applied to the Second round autumn or spring semester (15 April and 15 October application deadlines), you must reply to your first Notification of Selection Results in order to keep the places you’ve been offered, or to be placed on the reserve/waiting list for the second selection round.


If you decid not to attend, it’s important that you decline your place as soon as possible so that other students can be awarded a place. Follow the instructions given under – ‘Application’ ( – Mina sidor) after you log in. Read more here – Declining your offer – an important step.


As a new student you need to activate your university account to get access to the university’s IT services and to register for your courses,

Once you have activated your university account and received your log-in credentials, you can web-register via Ladok for students (also called “My studies” / “Mina studier”) under the meny “Current education” (“Aktuell utbildning”).

Please note that registration for courses autumn 2019 will be closed 2 Sep! After that all unregistered places will be offered to applicants on the waiting lists.
