PhD Student
I am a PhD student within the ECORISK2050 project, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network. This project seeks to understand how global change will impact the fate and transport of agricultural and urban chemicals and the associated human and ecological exposures and risks. My role in ECORISK2050 has been to develop novel human exposure modelling techniques for investigating possible changes in exposures under different global change scenarios. A particular focus of my work is on how a shift towards plant-based diets may change exposure to chemicals through the food chain. Additionally, I am investigating the risks posed to sewage treatment plant microorganisms from upstream industrial chemical spills.
