About me, a PhD student in Regulatory Ecotoxicology
By the end of 2019, I started my PhD here at the Department of Environmental Science, Stockholm University. I am strongly interested in different regulatory processes of industrial chemicals, especially the REACH legislation (EC No 1907/2006) on the Regulation, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. My projects aim to improve legislation and to find gaps in regulatory risk management mechanisms that need to be closed in order to promote a non-toxic environment as this is the basis of all ecosystems’ and our own health. Hereby, I appreciate a strong co-operation between scientists, industrial and governmental stakeholders.
