Research Interests
Trained as physicist, passionate about science. My current research is focused on water and ice in the atmosphere and in the context of cloud micro-physics and aerosol-cloud interactions. I mostly use theory and simulations to study molecular processes, e.g. molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the molecular structure and dynamics of liquid water, water at interfaces and in solutions and the physics of ice surfaces, or continuum simulations aiming to deepen our understanding of cloud droplet evolution.
Impressions of past and ongoing projects:

Sci. Rep. (2013)
