Regulatory ecotoxicology and toxicology
I am a professor in Regulatory ecotoxicology and toxicology at the Department of Applied Environmental Science (ITM), at Stockholm University in Stockholm, Sweden. My main research interest is in chemicals risk management in particular regulatory risk identification and risk assessment.
Regulatory aspects of toxicology encompass the chain of activities from the generation of (eco)toxicological data, via the interpretation and evaluation of data in risk assessment to risk management decision making.
The overall objectives of my research are to improve the scientific basis of risk assessment and management and to strengthen the protection of human health and the environment against harmful effects of chemical substances.
