Our planet has entered into a new phase – the Anthropocene. This is an epoch characterized by how humans influence the fundamental planetary systems (climate, water, ecosystems) to drive development and economic growth. How can we understand and reflect on how this new epoch influences us as individuals, our society and our planet?
Nine researchers, three directors and two dramatists come together to accept the challenge. They have been divided up into three groups, and each group given the task of developing a theater piece exploring the Anthropocene. The pieces will be performed on December 7th 2015 at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm.
