Stockholm University was ranked 28th in the world in environmental studies, according to QS World University Rankings by Subject 2016, published on 7 September.
“The high ranking is a reflection of the excellent work being done by many faculty, students and staff within our faculty. I find it particularly encouraging in view of our efforts to create a strong research and teaching environment that can attract top people to our university,” says Michael McLachlan, Head of ACES.
QS Rankings are published annually by the British Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The ranking includes both national and international ranking tables and is considered one of the three most widely used and influential university ranking systems in the world along with the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the Academic Ranking of World Universities.
QS Quacquarelli Symonds was founded in 1990 and is a global provider of information, research and solutions in higher education.
