Between August 2013 and March 2014 the sampling team went out in Stockholm-Uppsala region. In total, 17 families with cats and kids below 10 years of age were visited. 

Several chemical analysis have been performed on the dust and serum samples to establish the concentration range and the diversity between homes. 

MiSSE have used several approaches to identify and evaluate the potency of the thyroid hormone disruptors, such as in silico modelling, in vivo and in vitro bioassays.
