Former memberAdvisors
To ultimate the research design and performance MiSSE decided to invite Advisors to the project, which will attended the annual project meetings and give advice and scientific input about ongoing work and strategies.
At the kick-off meeting in 2012 it was decided to ask Professor Andreas Kortenkamp and Professor Tinka Murk to become advisors. To our delight they both accepted the invitation. Andreas has an expertise in the evaluation of mixture toxicity and have been involved in the work of the mixture strategy group. Tinka has experience with in vitro assays and especially in the evaluation of thyroid hormone disruption. She has been invited to the discussion regarding the work with in vivo and in vitro assays.

Reference group
The progress of MiSSE is based on close interactions with a number of relevant stakeholders. Formas invited partners for a first reference group meeting the 22nd of October 2012 consisting of the authorities KemI, Swedish EPA and the National Food Agency and three Formas sponsored projects (MiSSE, NICE and INTERACT). The authorities are urging to communicate what topics are currently on the priority list, and the researchers are in need of information often available from the authorities. The communication plan includes annual Reference group meetings and in-between communication when necessary. The goal was to identify common interest topics and find collaboration forms.
