ACES was commissioned, by the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, to perform literature overviews and EQS derivations for the following pollutants: sulfate, nitrate, silver, copper, D4, D5 and ciprofloxacin. The work was performed under the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC) using the European Communities’s guidance document “Technical Guidance for Deriving Environmental Quality Standards”.
